Make Brown Sugar in Traditional Way

Sugar cane was once the common snack of the poor peasant children during difficult times and it is also their delightful memory in childhood. Making sugar in traditional way could be seen everywhere in those days, but now it can be rarely seen in towns. The reporter visited villages at Xincheng Town of Dayu County a few days ago. The reporter saw the process of boiling sugar in traditional way and felt the sweetness of childhood.

Put the sugar cane into a simple juicing machine.

Stir constantly with a spoon to extract liquid.

The last step is to scoop the syrup and pour it into a small bucket until cool.

Visitors are tasting the fresh brown sugar.
