The world's largest mechanical clock --
the timepiece on Ganzhou Harmony Bell Tower, put aside the veil to
show its magnificent view for the first time on July 13. Hands of
the 4 clock faces were fixed under the cooperation of British
engineers and Chinese construction workers on that day. Later,
workers started to dismantle scaffold outside the timepieces. 4
huge clocks with diameter of 12.8 m were revealed one after
another. At present, construction of dryly-hanging stone outside
the tower is finished basically. The revolving restaurant and time
corridor in the tower are under construction. Internal decoration
will be carried out in full swing. (Photo by Lai Jinhong, Reporter He Min)
